Raptors

Raptors or birds of prey are a carnivorous (meat-eating) bird species that actively hunt and feed on other vertebrates and smaller animals. A raptor is a special type of bird which captures live prey. Equipped with very keen eyesight due to the relative size of the eyeball in proportion to their head, sharp talons and beaks for hunting. Several bird species are considered raptors. Eagles, hawks, kites, falcons, and owls are all considered raptors. Vultures are often considered raptors as well, though they eat carrion.

“It’s impossible to explain creativity. It’s like asking a bird, ‘How do you fly?’ You just do.” – Eric Jerome Dickey
